About Jane & David:
Jane and David Waugh moved to Belize from the US. Jane owned and led a professional employee leasing firm in Mississippi. David served as a church pastor, community development activist and counselor in NYC. A mutual friend matched them up and David left New York City for Mississippi. They were married in Belize and have been invested in its wellbeing ever since.
Jungle Acclimatisation - Acclimatise To The Rainforest:
Jane and David, Gracious stewards of the land at the foot of the Jungle. There are two dwellings on the property capable of housing up to 10 persons comfortably, a refreshing cement swimming hole in the back yard, the newly built “Shed” with a wonderful view across the valley and capable of accommodating small group sessions, plush jungle gardens, and plenty of hiking trails. The Waystation is conveniently located near several major excavated Mayan ruins, cave tours and zip-lining.
Bespoke Retreats For Artists & Pastors: Meet the Peter T hosts- stories from the deep south and the nature of Belize, meditative practices, sacred walks, beauty, luxury, gentility, heartfelt southern hosting excellent food and wine, separate accommodation, extensive outdoor areas, serenity, wilderness, the edge of the Hu Hole with kindness and love.
Belize & its Sacred Land:
Jane and David Waugh were first introduced to Belize years before they met each other. When their match up was arranged by a mutual friend, their love for each other was joined by their love for Belize and a thirst for adventure. As they approached retirement, they began to fantasize about making the house which they had built on Caye Caulker their home but found the tranquil greenery of the Belizean forest and jungle better suited to their temperaments. They believe that enjoying the Belizean social culture which drew them here for what it is rather than attempting to transform it into the cultures which, as expats, they left behind produces a wonderful environment for continued personal growth.
